Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence, routine patrols, and teamwork, while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, helping to support authorized entry procedures and visitor processing.
  • Observe trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and high-traffic operational spaces for security-related issues, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or operational disruptions to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
