Desktop Support Technician * Orlando, FL (100% onsite, regional travel required)* * 12-month contract* Looking for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing * Set up and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices * Troubleshoot hardware, software, login, and user account issues * Perform PC imaging, deployments, and system upgrades * Support printers, peripherals, and network-connected devices * Provide Tier 2 support and escalate more complex issues as needed * Work with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and Windows environments * Assist with basic networking (LAN, switches, wireless access points, cabling) * Document issues/resolutions and help train users when needed * Support both staff systems and internal lab environments What They're Looking For * 2+ years of desktop support or help desk experience (Tier 2 preferred) * Experience troubleshooting: * Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Outlook * PCs, printers, and peripherals * Hands-on experience with: * Active Directory (user accounts, password resets) * Imaging and deployments * Ticketing systems * Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, LAN) * Strong customer service and communication skills * Valid driver's license (travel required) Work Environment * 100% onsite in the greater Orlando area * Primary location at one site, with travel to nearby locations * Work is performed in a secure, structured environment supporting multiple teams and systems Why This Role is a Great Opportunity * Hands-on experience across desktop, network, and infrastructure support * Exposure to more advanced IT environments * Opportunity to grow into areas like: * Server support * Network support * Information security Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.
