Description
Stinson LLP is seeking an Of Counsel or Associate Attorney with at least two years of transactional experience to join our Minneapolis, Minnesota office in our Healthcare and Insurance Division. The Division is home to attorneys providing transactional and regulatory counsel to healthcare providers, health plans, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Division attorneys also provide transactional and governance counsel to clients in other regulated industries, including finance, agribusiness, manufacturing, and telecommunications. Due to the diversity of these practice areas, this position presents unique learning experiences and the opportunity to shape a transactional practice individually suited to each attorney's interests. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of experience representing clients in regulated industries in mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, corporate governance, entity selection and formation, business succession planning, private equity, and investment financing transactions. Qualified candidates will also possess excellent academic credentials and have strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience identifying, analyzing, and integrating regulatory considerations in health care and insurance transactions is preferred. Active license in Minnesota or the ability to waive into practice is required. Exceptional academic performance and excellent research, writing and analytical skills are required. Our attorney compensation structure has two components: (1) a base salary and (2) a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The salary range for this role is $195,000 - $260,000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The range is provided as an initial approximation at the time of posting and may vary based on the individual's unique qualifications and experience.
