As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Rover in Brookshire, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong customer service and communication. This driving post calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with local management and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and point-of-sale zones for suspicious behavior, trespassing, theft-related concerns, and/or other unusual activity, then report findings according to site protocols.
• Support access control, opening and closing procedures, and/or asset protection efforts while maintaining a professional presence and following all post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
