Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Electrical Safety Officer at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is responsible for overseeing the Electrical Safety Program, providing expertise in electrical safety, and serving as the primary contact for electrical safety-related concerns. This role involves providing electrical safety support to construction projects, working directly with project managers, craft, work planners, and field professionals to ensure effective implementation of electrical safe work practices, conducting incident investigations, leading safety assessments, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with safety standards. The position requires advanced knowledge in electrical engineering and safety protocols, and candidates must have excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and technical problem-solving skills. Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary contact on electrical safety and administer the LANL Electrical Safety Program;
