Job Description

The Center for Transformative Technology (C4TT) at the Trulaske College of Business operates at the intersection of business expertise and technology fluency. Through workshops, bootcamps, corporate challenges, and applied faculty and student projects, C4TT prepares learners to collaborate with AI and emerging technology in ways that drive real business outcomes. The Center works alongside industry partners, campus collaborators, and the broader Columbia community to build programming that is practitioner-voiced, hands-on, and relevant to the workforce students are entering.

The Transformative Technology Analyst plays a central role in the day-to-day operations of C4TT. This position owns the Center's technology platform portfolio, vendor relationships, and technical training delivery for faculty, staff, and students across the college. The ideal candidate is technically fluent, highly organized, and comfortable operating across administrative, instructional, and vendor-facing responsibilities in a fast-moving, innovation-focused environment.

Platform and Vendor Management
* Administer the Center's ecosystem of AI and technology platforms across the full lifecycle, including licensing, user access, provisioning, utilization audits, cost optimization, and security and data privacy vetting in coordination with MU's Division of IT.
* Manage vendor relationships on behalf of the College, including contract and pricing negotiations and leveraging vendor support to maximize platform value.
Technical Training and Curriculum
* Design and deliver technical training for students, faculty, and staff, including workshops and bootcamps of varying length and complexity, delivered through the Trulaske Edge program.
* Develop curriculum content, SOPs, and training materials that support platform adoption across the college.
Engagement and Outreach
* Support C4TT's engagement with industry partners and the broader Columbia community, including initiatives such as COMO AI, building the Center's presence beyond transactional vendor relationships.
Operations and Supervision
* Leverage and supervise undergraduate and graduate student workers to scale Center programming.
* Manage purchasing within technology portfolio using a p-card, in collaboration with the fiscal office on reconciliation.
Other Duties
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the Center for Transformative Technology.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with occasional availability outside regular business hours as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience administering a portfolio of SaaS or technology platforms, including license management, user provisioning, and vendor coordination; skilled at leveraging vendor resources and optimizing cost across a tool portfolio.
* Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technology platforms; able to evaluate new tools and champion their adoption by showing others their practical value.
* Experience designing and delivering technical training or instructional content in a higher education or corporate setting.
* Strong project and process management skills, including comfort with tools such as Monday.com and the ability to build repeatable workflows and documentation.
* A natural change agent and ambassador for the Center, building credibility with industry partners and driving adoption across the college.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; brings resilience, adaptability, and a steady temperament when priorities shift or obstacles arise.
