As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in driving capital projects that support our division's engineering strategy. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management - from concept and design through cost control, construction, and successful commissioning. What You'll Do:
Day to Day Activities. Uses AutoDesk products to perform design tasks and produce fabrication and erection drawings. Inspect. Provides field supervision/inspection services on construction projects. Performs post-project review to ensure key objectives, cost/performance improvements, and rate of return are achieved Prepare Bid Packages. Prepares bid packages for construction and manages construction contracts Provide Updates. Provide project updates on a regular frequency to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Represent the Company. Represents the company to industry associations, government officials, and public agencies Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned Travel. Varies based on projects up to 20%

Skills You'll Need:

Education & Experience: BS degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Mining Engineering and/or 2+ years of experience using drafting software (i.e., AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) to produce detailed plans, models, and blueprints for Industrial Projects. Experience supporting projects from concept to completion. Knowledge of concrete and steel design, building codes, and construction practices is an added benefit. Experience in a mining, industrial, or construction environment and/or other similar fields is desired. Experience with processing equipment and pumping equipment is desired. Leadership Skills.
