Location: Youngsville, LA

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Weekend OT as needed) | 7 AM - 4 PM

The Qualifications You Need

• Current ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II certification in at least one NDT method (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT, or ET)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Documented training and experience in applicable NDT method(s) per SNT-TC-1A requirements
• Ability to independently perform NDT inspections, including setup, calibration, and evaluation
• Strong understanding of NDT principles, inspection techniques, and defect recognition
• Ability to interpret applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, ASTM)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Basic computer skills for reporting and recordkeeping
• Ability to meet vision requirements (near vision and color perception)
• Ability to work in industrial environments, including field or shop settings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and work in physically demanding conditions

What You'll Do

• Perform nondestructive testing using qualified methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT, ET)
• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment in accordance with approved procedures
• Conduct inspections and evaluate results in compliance with applicable codes and specifications
• Identify, interpret, and document relevant and non-relevant indications
• Prepare accurate and timely inspection reports and maintain required records
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company quality assurance and safety standards
• Follow written procedures and work instructions without deviation
• Communicate inspection findings to supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel
• Support compliance with customer requirements and industry standards
• Maintain certification, training, and continuing qualification requirements
