This role supports the CHRO in leading HR strategy and daily operations, overseeing key functions such as employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, onboarding, and HR systems. - Support CHRO with HR Strategy.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the Human Resources Team, ensuring operational consistency and alignment with organizational values.
- Oversee the execution of core HR programs, including onboarding, performance cycles, benefits administration, wellness initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing direction on best practices, policy interpretation, and complex or sensitive matters.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including oversight of reporting requirements and adherence to internal policies.
- Lead and support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and recommendations to mitigate organizational risk.
- Coach and support managers in performance management, employee engagement, corrective action, and development practices.
- Provide high-level support to employees and managers regarding benefits, policies, processes, and HR-related inquiries.
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance employee experience, engagement, and recognition programs.
- Monitor HR trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and proactive alignment.
- Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and overall HR service delivery.
- Perform other duties as needed in alignment with the priorities of the EVP of People Operations.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Oversee processing new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, and changes in the HRIS/benefits systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate transmission of eligibility data to benefit carriers and vendors.
- Maintain employee benefit records and ensure data accuracy across systems to include invoicing.
- Work with vendors to solve employee benefit concerns/issues.
- Support with managing all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, wellness programs, and voluntary benefits.
- Support with compensation strategy, salary structures, job classification, and market benchmarking.
- Ensure compensation benchmarks are in line with industry and provide data regarding
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Support CHRO with HR Strategy and meeting deadlines
- Oversee HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, personnel file management, and policy development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain auditready HR documentation and lead responses to internal and external audits.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Support execution of HR strategies that align with the company's mission and objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation updates (including Federal regulations) related to employment practices in each state where employees are located.
- Collaborate with department heads to address workforce challenges.
- Support leadership development and training programs.
- Ensure full compliance with federal contractor requirements, including OFCCP regulations, Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), EEO/VEVRAA obligations, and annual EEO-1 reporting.
- Manage accurate record-keeping and required postings; oversee internal audits and prepare for external compliance reviews.
- Enforce policies for nondiscrimination, reasonable accommodation initiatives.
- Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and provide responses to audits or investigations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO record-keeping procedures for all Human Resources processes/procedures as applicable, labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Participate in internal and external ISO audits.
- Ensure HR processes are audit-ready and meet ISO documentation standards.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Manage employee relations programs, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolution of workplace issues.
- Investigate and resolve workplace complaints in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance, conduct, and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including anti-harassment and anti-discrimination regulations.
- Implement policies that promote fairness, consistency, and employee engagement.
- Promote and develop programs that enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives and action planning.
Performance Management & Development:
- Oversee the performance management cycle, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational and department goals.
- Support leadership development, training programs, and succession planning.
- Support with implementing initiatives to strengthen leadership capability and workforce readiness.
Qualifications: Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
- BS/BA degree preferred in related field and Minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources at a government contracting company of similar size.
- PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR software and tools, UKG Pro and ERI is desirable.
- Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of labor laws, HR best practices and current trends.
- Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity with a sensitivity to confidential matters being required.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization as well as clients and vendors.
- Strong computer and research skills.
- Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position as Full Time is estimated between $141 - 192K. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
