The School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia (UVA) seeks applicants to teach one-credit academic courses in the Kinesiology Lifetime Physical Activity (KLPA) program for the Fall 2026 semester. Sports and activities (likely) in need of instructors include, but are not limited to:
Courses are primarily scheduled during the day in alignment with UVA's academic schedule. These are not group fitness classes, but academic courses aimed at providing undergraduate students a progression of knowledge and skills to be life-long movers. Preference will be given to full-time enrolled UVA graduate and doctoral students, but we welcome anyone who is qualified to apply. Valid CPR/First Aid certification is strongly preferred; some classes will require the Instructor to be certified in the physical activity discipline.
