This position will function as the Project Management Specialist with responsibility and accountability for establishing operational and administrative infrastructure. Maintain all appropriate project deliverables and responsibilities for a variety of projects on the Value Based Care team supporting Total Cost of Care and Acuity initiatives.

For all projects: responsible for planning project resources, assembling appropriate members for the project and leading the project (as appropriate), time management, data analysis, risk identification, progress monitoring/KPI tracking, and reporting progress to the Value Based Care leadership.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.

MPH can substitute for two years of experience

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

None

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of three or more years of relevant work experience. Healthcare background preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Strong computer skills are essential (high level Microsoft Office products include PowerPoint/Excel/Word /Access, as well as Outlook, and Tableau). Outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build value-added relationships with individuals at all levels while providing superior customer service. Positive contributor and a strong commitment to quality are essential. Strong time management, organizational skills and the ability to multitask are a must. Excellent judgment, with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment that changes rapidly to fit the needs. Must be team oriented.

Project Management Functions


  • Provides leadership in project management and program office operations and methodologies.
  • Maintains master work plan for each project.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and makes recommendations on status reports, issue resolution, and program actual against project charter, budget, and/or plan.
  • Defines and communicates framework/templates for deliverables that span the engagement.
  • Standardizes and integrates plans, approaches, and deliverables across projects.
  • Raises deliverable quality concerns or questions to appropriate level; ensures appropriate content/structure is contained within the deliverable.
  • Manages engagement risk through reaffirming sponsor expectations, managing scope, managing alliance relationships, managing contractor relationship, and taking early action to resolve problems.
  • Analyzes data to provide meaningful context and tracking for project workstreams.
  • Tracks and shares KPIs across programs
  • Captures and shares best practices across engagements.
  • Promotes an environment that encourages effective knowledge contribution and reuse.
  • Leverages existing knowledge (intranet, internet, Microsoft Office applications, Visio, Outlook, and etc.,) through the effective and appropriate application to current project and/or engagements.
  • Ensures engagement teams submit deliverables to appropriate knowledge bases.
  • Promotes project team efforts and shares sense of purpose so that work is synchronized and concurrent, knowledge is shared, and seamless services are provided.
  • Oversees and conducts all functions needed to support the Department, including but not limited to: Slide preparation, Data analysis, Meeting organization, Note taking, Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range:

$66,000.00- $96,000.00

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
