The Daily Advertiser , part of the USA TODAY Co Network, is looking for a part-time reporter to bolster our award-winning coverage of LSU athletics and assist network coverage of high school sports in Louisiana. The Advertiser is our home base for stories, photos and videos about LSU athletics, and Baton Rouge will be the home for this reporter as well. They could work alongside our current reporter on the biggest event coverage in town and then be tasked to work independently on content in other areas. That could include writing about recruiting, as well as collaboration on high school state championship events. This position provides an opportunity to work alongside colleagues and provide a full-time editor for feedback and growth. It's tailor-made for a young, up-and-coming journalist who's seeking experience in the field ahead of their first full-time journalism position. Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is home to more than 200,000 people and the state's flagship university. It's located less than 90 miles northwest of downtown New Orleans. Responsibilities:
