SHP) is seeking a Student Assistant (Student Ambassador) to work in the Office of Enrollment Management.
The Rutgers School of Health Professions, Office of Enrollment Management is seeking students who are motivated, engaged, and are willing to showcase the institution positively by serving as an Enrollment Management (EM) Student Ambassador. The EM Student Ambassador Program looks for students who are leaders both in and out of the classroom. Student Ambassadors promote a sense of community for students enrolled at the Rutgers School of Health Professions. Student Ambassadors serve as positive role models for both current and prospective students.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
As an EM Student Ambassador you will be required to assist the Office of Enrollment Management, Admissions, Registrar, and
EOF program during various student recruitment activities. Some activities will require weekend or evening participation. Some of the essential duties of an EM Student Ambassador will consist of, but are not limited to:
- Calling prospective students.
- Conducting scheduled campus tours for prospective students and their families.
- Assisting admissions staff with various secretarial/administrative assignments.
- Assisting with open houses, and any other events hosted or co-hosted by the Admissions Office.
- Greeting and providing directions, general information and assistance to visitors, students and staff.
- Maintaining and assisting with the tracking of admissions inventory.
- Assisting with updating EM Student Ambassador Social Media (Twitter, FB, Instagram) regularly.
- Answering questions and referring questions to appropriate admissions counselors or departments.

| Minimum Education and Experience |
- EM Student Ambassadors are expected to be enrolled full-time in a SHP academic program.
- EM Student Ambassadors are required to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5.
