Medical Assistant/LPN Primary Care- Muncie, IN

• Schedule appointments and manage patient communications.
• Complete prior authorizations, referrals, and medication refill requests.
• Perform patient intake, including recording vital signs and medical history.
• Assist patients with transfers, specimen collection, and exam preparation.
• Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, and infection control standards.
• Support providers with in-office procedures, point-of-care testing, allergy injections, allergy vial preparation, and allergy testing.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state LPN or RN license.
• CPR and/or BLS certification, or the ability to obtain certification prior to employment.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA), or willingness to obtain certification within 9 months of hire.

• 1+ years of Licensed Practical Nurse experience using electronic medical records software.
• Experience performing back-office clinical tasks, including vital signs, injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and medication administration.
• Experience performing front-office responsibilities, including appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, medication refills, and referrals.
