**About the Role:**

In this pivotal role, you will become an integral part of a global legal team, focusing on commercial legal issues. You will be at the forefront of triaging legal requests, gathering crucial information, and analyzing applicable legal and compliance factors. Your insights will be vital in preparing recommended guidance and solutions, directly supporting legal professionals and business partners. This position offers a unique chance to hone your legal acumen, contribute to efficient workflows, and collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Triage incoming commercial legal matters within a shared workspace, routing them to appropriate internal resources and functions.

* Provide essential assistance and support for routine legal processes and standard commercial matters.

* Escalate complex legal issues to experienced legal professionals for in-depth review.

* Assist legal professionals in collecting information, conducting analysis, and drafting recommended guidance and solutions for commercial legal matters.

* Maintain, update, and organize legal self-help readiness resources to empower business partners.

* Contribute to ongoing process improvements and the development of efficient matter-routing workflows.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with an assistance-oriented mindset.

* Basic ability to work independently and effectively manage your time.

* Basic knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and the democratic political process.

* Previous experience with common office applications, including word processing, presentation software, and spreadsheets.

* Associate's degree in paralegal studies or equivalent training.

* 0-2 years of experience in a legal support role.

* Ability to analyze and understand policies and legal documents.

* Organized, analytical, and problem-solving oriented mindset.

* Ability to deal with ambiguity.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Strong program/project management abilities.

* High comfort with technology and a passion for learning new tools and technologies.

* An extensive legal background, ideally with experience supporting technology companies or law firms.

* Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

* Curiosity and eagerness for continuous learning and self-development.

* Comfortable presenting ideas and insights.

* Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal guidance.

**Compensation:**

Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
