What You'll Do:
  • Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Perform wiring, component installation, cable harnessing, and hand soldering activities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly documentation.
  • Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining required tolerances and specifications.
  • Follow defined methods and sequences of operations to ensure product quality.
  • Operate hand tools and automated production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with team members to share information and resolve routine issues.
  • Escalate production or quality concerns to supervisors when needed.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in J-STD soldering
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate Degree
  • Microscope experience
  • Soldering experience
  • Experience in handling small products/microchips
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred)
  • Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production).
  • Soldering certification
  • Good communication skills
  • Teamwork oriented
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision if needed
  • Ability to make quality decisions quickly
  • Patience
  • Read drawings/blueprints/work instructions
  • Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (needed)
  • Close attention to detail and quality.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Good hand/eye coordination - manual dexterity is needed as will be working with glass products
