What You'll Do:
- Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components according to specifications and work instructions.
- Perform wiring, component installation, cable harnessing, and hand soldering activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly documentation.
- Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining required tolerances and specifications.
- Follow defined methods and sequences of operations to ensure product quality.
- Operate hand tools and automated production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate with team members to share information and resolve routine issues.
- Escalate production or quality concerns to supervisors when needed.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in J-STD soldering
What Sets You Apart:
- Associate Degree
- Microscope experience
- Soldering experience
- Experience in handling small products/microchips
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred)
- Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production).
- Soldering certification
- Good communication skills
- Teamwork oriented
- Ability to work with little or no supervision if needed
- Ability to make quality decisions quickly
- Patience
- Read drawings/blueprints/work instructions
- Ability to clearly read, write, and understand English (needed)
- Close attention to detail and quality.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Good hand/eye coordination - manual dexterity is needed as will be working with glass products
