Job Description
The Finance Operations Analyst - BH will support the financial operations and strategic priorities of University Health Behavioral Health. Serving as the finance operations expert for BH and supporting clinical applications/reporting. Manages revenue and expense processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting, and drives solutions to enhance efficiency. Maintain and support all BH finance operations, to ensure regulatory compliance, optimize financial performance, while supporting the academic health center's mission of providing accessible, state-of-the-art quality healthcare to our community. Serves as a liaison to the care delivery teams, IT, and Finance, to investigate discrepancies, coordinate with teams, improve reports and resolve financial issues. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Finance Operations - BH, while working closely with BH leadership, Finance and operational teams to drive financial strategies, manage budgets and improve operational efficiencies to positively impact patient care. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent education and experience (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, healthcare experience, Health Informatics, etc.) or Master's degree in Behavioral Health related field. At least 5 years of proven experience supporting data-driven finance operations; preferably in healthcare or safety-net hospital finance. Strong experience with IT systems, managerial reporting tools, analysis, data lifecycle, MS Office [Excel] and data management. Experience managing multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment; preferably with a strong analytical mindset with the ability to define and track performance metrics/initiatives. Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, deliver results under pressure, and collaborate across departments and functions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - capable of influencing across diverse stakeholder teams. Familiarity with healthcare Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and financial management systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, etc.) is a plus. | |
