About you

You're a reliable, hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping people and property safe. In this role, you'll support the daily security operations of a commercial office building and play an important part in creating a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This position is a great opportunity if you're looking to build a long-term career in security within commercial real estate. You'll gain practical experience working with a variety of systems and tools, while developing strong customer service and problem-solving skills. In this role, you'll work with security systems including cameras, access control (C-Cure), fire alarms, intercoms, radios, and more. You'll also help manage after-hours building access, document activity and incidents, and be ready to respond when situations arise.

In this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating the security control room and associated systems.

  • Continuously monitor emergency communications and life safety equipment.

  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation of incidents, activities, and after-hours access.

  • Deliver a professional and positive experience when interacting with tenants, clients, and visitors.

  • Successfully clear our pre-employment process (background check and drug screening).

  • Have the physical capability to remain on your feet for extended periods, perform patrols, and lift up to 50 lbs.

What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in customer service and security environments.

  • Current California BSIS Guard Card.

  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, or the ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Approximate Hourly Range for this Role: $19.43/hr - $21/hr

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
