Summary


The Inventory Control Supervisor II is responsible for leading and overseeing all inventory control functions within the warehouse operation. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and proper management of inventory across all processes, including receiving, storage, replenishment, and shipping. This position leads the inventory control team while supporting cross-functional warehouse operations.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage the Inventory Control team to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability
  • Oversee cycle counting programs, physical inventories, and audit processes
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis
  • Ensure FIFO, lot control, and proper inventory handling practices
  • Partner with operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy across workflows
  • Establish, review, monitor, and enforce as applicable all operational SOPs
  • Monitor WMS accuracy including transactions and location control
  • Recruit, train, coach, supervise and evaluate inventory control staff
  • Assist with adherence / development of monthly, quarterly and annual inventory expense.
  • Communicate inventory performance metrics and corrective actions
  • Assist with adherence / development of monthly, quarterly and annual inventory expense
  • Serve as the liaison between internal & external customers (Purchasing, Sales, Delivery, Suppliers etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies
  • Always Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values
  • Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations.
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

People Management


This position will manage a diverse group of Inventory Leads and Associates.


Work Environment


This job operates mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.


Physical Demands



  • Lift/carry/push/pull 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 165 lbs.
  • Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
  • Climb stairs/ladders


Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, days and hours of work vary and may include weekends.

Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree
  • High School diploma or GED required



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Minimum three (3) years warehouse experience
  • Minimum two (2) years supervisory/lead experience


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
