ABOUT THE POSITION
Position Overview: As a Cybersecurity Awareness & Training Analyst you will develop, implement, and manage the organization's cybersecurity awareness and training program, with a focus on reducing human cyber risk through education, phishing simulation, and behavioral analysis.

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week). Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Compensation Range: $28.00/hr. - $36.50/hr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*

Location: This is a Hybrid position in Endwell, NY.

What You'll Do:



  • Plan and deliver cybersecurity awareness training across the organization, including new hire onboarding sessions (in-person and remote meetings)
  • Design and execute phishing simulation campaigns to test and improve employee awareness
  • Analyze phishing results and training metrics to identify trends and high-risk behaviors
  • Develop engaging awareness content (emails, micro-trainings, campaigns, internal communications)
  • Partner with stakeholders to align awareness efforts with real-world threats and organizational priorities
  • Help build a culture where employees recognize threats and take appropriate action


What success looks like:



  • Increased employee ability to identify and report phishing attempts, reflected in improving report rates and reduced click rates
  • Delivery of engaging, effective training sessions (in-person and remote) that are well-received and easy for non-technical staff to understand
  • Consistent execution of phishing simulations and awareness campaigns that reflect real-world threats
  • Measurable reduction in repeat high-risk behaviors through targeted follow-up education
  • Timely and accurate tracking of training and phishing metrics, with clear, actionable insights
  • Strong collaboration with business teams to reinforce a security-aware culture


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or related field with 1-3 years of experience
    managing security awareness or phishing simulation programs.
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing security awareness or phishing simulation programs in lieu of degree.
  • Strong understanding of social engineering tactics and cybersecurity threats
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with phishing simulation platforms (Cofense, KnowBe4, Proofpoint, Microsoft Attack Simulation)
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax
    machines, PCs, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or related field.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Instructional design.
