The HR Program Manager is responsible for end-to-end ownership of HR Shared Services Center (HRSSC) participation in global and cross-regional initiatives, representing the Regional HR Shared Services Center (HRSSC) as the primary stakeholder, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and ensuring HRSSC processes and tools are clearly understood and consistently applied across stakeholders. This role goes beyond traditional project coordination by ensuring HRSSC timelines and milestones are realistic and met, aggregating and presenting HRSSC input and feedback, and proactively surfacing requirements, risks, and mitigation options.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Serve as the HRSSC Program Owner for assigned global initiatives - accountable for HRSSC deliverables, timelines, quality, and overall readiness for deployment; provide project management support from planning through execution and closeout.

  • Maintain active partnership with global Project Managers and Program Manager peers to ensure alignment; gather, collate, and provide consolidated HRSSC requirements and prioritized input into key project decision points.
  • Delegate work effectively, confirm owners and due dates, and hold stakeholders accountable for completing assigned actions, deliverables, and timelines; monitor progress, update trackers/dashboards, and communicate HRSSC status to project managers.
  • Aggregate and articulate HRSSC risks, issues, and impacts into actionable options; recommend mitigations, track resolution, and escalate blockers early so timelines remain realistic and achievable.
  • Assess HRSSC training and knowledge transfer needs; support design and execution of training and/or knowledge base updates; lead readiness validation (e.g., pilot, UAT) and sign-off for HRSSC go-live readiness.
  • Be the subject matter expert for HRSSC processes, systems, and data; ensure consistent application of process changes and tool configurations across regions and stakeholders.
