Position Overview Spiro is seeking a Senior Vice President, Finance to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. In this role, you will provide strategic financial leadership, guide agency decision-making, and ensure disciplined financial stewardship across the organization. You will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and optimization of Spiro's financial operations in support of sustained growth, profitability, and long-term value creation. Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership for the finance function, including talent strategy, organizational design, succession planning, and team development.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, financial objectives, and strategic priorities; translate performance insights into recommendations for the executive team.
- Evaluate and develop business cases for new services, markets, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Ensure the organization is supported by the systems, resources, and infrastructure required to scale effectively and operate efficiently.
- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to shape, implement, and oversee the company's core financial, operational, and information systems.
- Lead the development and implementation of financial policies, controls, and best practices that support enterprise goals and operational excellence.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and accounting requirements, including tax law, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), federal acquisition regulations (FAR), and cost accounting standards (CAS).
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in finance, administration, and technology to identify opportunities for modernization and continuous improvement.
- Sponsor the implementation of new systems and major enhancements, ensuring business continuity, stakeholder alignment, and operational readiness.
- Perform other executive-level duties as needed to support business priorities.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred.
- CPA designation a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate finance, including responsibility for enterprise-level financial operations.
- Executive presence with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of financial strategy and accounting requirements, with a demonstrated ability to advise executive leadership with sound judgment and integrity.
- Strong command of financial and administrative systems, operating models, and process design, with the ability to drive optimization at scale.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related business systems.

Measure of Success
- 30 days: Establish executive relationships, assess team structure and financial operations, and develop a clear view of project profitability and cost-center performance.
- 60 days: Build a comprehensive understanding of Spiro's financial model and operating structure, and articulate the key drivers of revenue, margin, and financial performance across the business.
- 90 days: Assume visible ownership of the financial statements, planning process, and finance function roadmap, while strengthening the team's strategic impact across the organization.
