Job Summary

The Distribution Associate is responsible for supporting shipping and distribution operations through the accurate picking, packing, and shipment of customer orders while maintaining inventory integrity and compliance with quality standards. This role ensures products are processed efficiently, inventory records remain accurate, and all warehouse activities are performed in accordance with safety, security, and operational procedures. The Distribution Associate contributes to a productive and organized warehouse environment while supporting overall distribution objectives.

Job Responsibilities



  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications.
  • Verify products and materials to ensure accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Process outbound shipments and prepare products for delivery.
  • Receive, sort, palletize, and store inventory as needed to support shipping operations.
  • Maintain product traceability and inventory accuracy in accordance with quality management procedures.
  • Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities to support inventory integrity.
  • Operate manual and powered material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, following all safety guidelines.
  • Conduct equipment inspections prior to use and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Complete required documentation related to shipping, inventory, and equipment operation.
  • Follow established security procedures and warehouse operating standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and workplace standards.
  • Support mailroom functions and other warehouse-related activities as assigned.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards across all assigned processes.
  • Adhere to all company policies, attendance requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to accurately identify and differentiate alphanumeric product numbers and inventory attributes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn warehouse management systems, RF scanning devices, and inventory processes.
  • Ability to learn and safely operate material handling equipment.
  • Ability to work across multiple systems and processes.
  • Ability to obtain hazardous materials and lithium battery certifications as required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.


Work Experience



  • Previous warehouse, shipping, distribution, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment is preferred but not required.


Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)



  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.
  • Extended shifts may be required on the last business day of each month, including shifts of 10 hours or longer.
  • Steel-toe shoes are required.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on assigned tasks, including safety shoes, harnesses, gloves, face shields, and aprons.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of 25 pounds or more required.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling of 50 pounds or more required.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, and repetitive movement throughout the workday.
  • Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Background screening, employment verification, education verification, and drug screening may be required as part of the hiring process.
