General Information Country: USA State: Pennsylvania City: Hazleton Office Location: 68 Green Mountain Road - - - - - Date posted: 08-Jun-2026 Business Function: Manufacturing/Operations Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Description As a Distribution Dock Lead you will provide first-line leadership to a team of distribution employees, ensuring efficient and safe day-to-day warehouse operations across areas such as unloading, picking, putaway, loading, and storage. Benefits and Compensation: Competitive Benefits Plans Starting Day 1 of Employment Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) Wellbeing Reimbursement Annually Employee Bonus Plans Business Inclusion Groups Free Quarterly Massages Tuition Reimbursement You'll Support Meaningful Work By: Leading day-to-day dock and warehouse operations Assigning work and supervising associates Supporting SQDC targets Monitoring and adjusting trailer and product flow Identifying bottlenecks and defining priorities Ensuring safety compliance Driving Lean and 5S initiatives Partnering with Distribution Operations Manager Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or Business Administration is preferred Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse, LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight, logistics environment or manufacturing related. Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software. Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for data tracking). Forklift certification and the ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as stand-up/sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jack A solid understanding of OSHA standards and safe freight-handling practices Strong critical thinking under pressure to resolve delayed shipments and manage fast-paced, time-sensitive dock environments. Good verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and repport to upper management (English/Spanish) Desired Skills and Experience: Preferred 1-3 years of hands-on experience in dock operations, with a proven track record of managing loading and unloading workflows Why People Choose to Work with Us At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
