Position Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to assist with our manufacturing operations. This position requires coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing warehouse duties, maintaining accurate inventory, and guaranteeing timely delivery of materials to support production timelines. The ideal candidate performs well in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and demonstrates strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

What you will experience in this position:

Logistics & Transportation

  • Manage domestic and international shipments, including selecting carriers, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, customs paperwork as needed).
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or issues.
  • Optimize freight costs while maintaining service levels.
  • Partner with production, procurement, and customer service teams to meet delivery commitments.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and carriers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and warehouse processes.
Warehouse Operations
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.
  • Maintain accurate and timely management of materials received and dispatched.
  • Operate forklift equipment per safety policy including daily lift inspections.
  • Maintain organized warehouse layout and ensure accurate material handling practices.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory processes.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.
You have:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures along with inventory control.
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to acquire).
  • Understanding of shipping regulations at both national and international levels.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to occasionally bend 90 degrees & twist 45 degrees.
  • Must be able to operate motorized equipment and all forklift types safely.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
