Serves as the liaison between business units and technology teams to support Workday Financial Management and Human Capital Management (HCM). Participates in projects by gathering requirements, writing specifications, and assisting with the evaluation, analysis, and implementation of Workday functionality to meet business needs. Develops and executes test plans, performs system testing for Workday releases, and collaborates with technical teams to build and deploy solutions. Reviews and analyzes business systems and user requirements within the Financial and HCM functional areas and resolves related customer support requests.

Salary: $62,000 - $68,500 annually; DOE
Essential Duties: • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions. • Under the guidance and supervision of the lead or senior analyst, configure, test, and maintain Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Finance, Core, Recruitment, Learning) to support business processes and ensure optimal performance. • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure system changes meet business needs and align with best practices. • Develop and execute test plans, conduct system and user acceptance testing, and support end-user training and adoption. • Analyze and resolve Workday-related issues, ensuring timely support and effective problem-solving. • Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge transfer and compliance. • Manage support tickets using ServiceNow and/or JIRA, ensuring timely responses, clear documentation, and appropriate resolution, or escalation. • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the department and institution.
Desired Qualifications: • Experience in Workday Financial Management and/or Human Capital Management (HCM). • Experience in writing functional specifications. • Experience documenting and mapping business processes. • Knowledge of higher education administrative systems and related business principles. • Knowledge of automated and manual management information systems. • Knowledge of forms design and procedures development. • Knowledge of human resources administrative systems and related business principles. • Experience with Human Resources and knowledge of related business principles. • Ability to analyze complicated problems. • Ability to create conceptual solutions that are technically feasible. • Ability to clearly explain concrete processes and abstract concepts both orally and in writing. • Ability to perform effectively as a member of a team.
Working Environment: • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. • Regular activities require to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
