We are seeking a Tank Preparation and Maintenance Technician to support the cleaning, preparation, reconditioning, and maintenance of fuel and lubricant storage equipment. This hands-on role includes light mechanical work, equipment upkeep, and facility maintenance in an outdoor industrial environment.

What You'll Do



  • Clean, inspect, and recondition bulk fuel and lubricant tanks
  • Prepare tanks and equipment for painting and refinishing
  • Replace hoses, filters, and related components
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on pumps and related equipment (electric and air-operated)
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Assist with general facility upkeep, including seasonal grounds maintenance
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while supporting team projects as needed
  • Perform additional maintenance and shop duties as assigned


What We're Looking For



  • At least 1 year of forklift experience
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, safety-focused work ethic
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to work overtime as needed


Preferred Experience



  • Warehouse, industrial labor, or general maintenance experience
  • Industrial painting or surface preparation experience
  • Experience with pumps, hoses, filtration systems, or similar equipment
  • Forklift certification
