Position Overview

The Clinical Lab Learning Programs Manager develops, coordinates, and delivers training programs to ensure laboratory personnel are competent and compliant with Exact Sciences' quality and regulatory standards. This role partners with subject matter experts and training leadership to design, implement, and maintain instructional materials, courses, and competency documentation, applying project coordination and instructional design skills to support laboratory training, documentation, and learning system processes.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintain training materials that are clear, learner-focused, and compliant with CLIA, CAP, and QMS standards, ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the rollout and coordination of new training programs, SOP updates, and laboratory initiatives, including tracking and reporting training completion, competency status, and audit readiness.
  • Deliver and support new hire and continuing education sessions in both in-person and virtual formats, coordinating logistics, learning assessments, and completion of required documentation.
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, and other laboratory teams to ensure training practices and documentation meet compliance standards, and support audit and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to training readiness for new automation or test systems, including participation in clinical studies, acceptance testing, and validation activities through commercial launch.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to essential duties; or Associate Degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with a professional working knowledge of HIPAA, GLP, GDP, laboratory terminology, and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory operations, quality systems (e.g., CLIA, CAP, QMS), and adult learning or instructional design principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate logistics, collaborate across teams, and deliver training (in-person and virtual)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science, education, or instructional design.

Salary Range:

$76,000.00 - $125,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
