MOREnet Job Description
This position is responsible for cultivating and developing relationships with Missouri's higher education Non-profit institutions with the goal of retaining or recruiting the organization as part of the MOREnet consortium. This position serves as the main point of contact for these two primary industries for our organization. Given the nature of technology and the business tools required, a willingness to learn and embrace new products and processes is important. Shift
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm MOREnet currently has a modified ROWE culture (Results-Only Work Environment). Employee must live within a 4 hour drive of Columbia MO. Minimum Qualifications
A Master's Degree in an area related to the member base MOREnet serves, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Independent, strong work ethics are a must; e.g. strong verbal and written communication skills, initiative-driven, ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively, thorough and timely decision making skills, and demonstration of integrity and sensitivity to others in working relationships. Must reside within a 4-hour drive of Columbia, MO. Preferred Qualifications
Three to five years' experience in sales consulting or client support is preferred. A working knowledge of higher education and/or non-profit administration and policy planning is preferred. Knowledge of telecommunications fundamentals and information technology used by higher education and non-profit organizations is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
