Position Summary
Use state-of-the-art CFD software (Fluent, SimVascular, etc.) to simulate and analyze flow through patient-specific models of cardiovascular anatomy. Design and conduct benchtop experiments to complement and/or validate computational modeling studies. Work with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and nurses to obtain patient data necessary for quantitative modeling. Collaborate with lab staff, clinicians, and statisticians to design experiments and write protocols. Perform statistical analysis of experimental results. Prepare oral and written reports for presentation at technical conferences and for publication in scholarly journals. Key Responsibilities
Education:
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
