Join our Hospice Team as a HospiceConversationalist, along Maine's Beautiful Coast!In this role, you'll provide skilled nursing care and coordinate services for terminally ill patients in the comfort of their own homes. You'll build meaningful connections with patients and families, serving as a trusted guide, advocate, and source of support during a deeply personal time. Sometimes the most important part of the visit isn't a clinical intervention-it's listening, offering reassurance, and simply being present. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you'll help develop and coordinate individualized care plans that support comfort, quality of life, and patient goals. You'll have the autonomy to manage your day, start and end your work from home, and focus on providing one-on-one care that truly makes a difference.This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy building relationships, working independently, and combining clinical expertise with compassionate, patient-centered care. This is a full time, 40 hours per week, Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience. This is an exempt, salaried role. For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
