*Professional Summary* The Revenue Operations Specialist supports critical functions within the revenue cycle by ensuring accurate insurance coverage, timely reimbursement, and proper documentation of patient and financial information. This role serves as a key liaison between insurance payers, internal revenue teams, and clinic staff to support seamless workflows and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. The specialist operates in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong customer service, data entry, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Flexibility is essential, as individuals will be cross-trained across multiple revenue operations functions, including provider portal access, cash application, enrollments, and document management.
*Key Responsibilities* * Communicate with insurance payers to verify patient coverage, support claims processing, and ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for services rendered. * Maintain and update patient account information, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. * Respond to payer inquiries and communications promptly, resolving issues related to insurance coverage, payments, or enrollment discrepancies. * Collaborate with cross-functional revenue operations teams and clinic staff (insurance counselors, social workers, administrators) to ensure accurate patient information and coordinated processes. * Perform data entry and documentation tasks, including reviewing, scanning, filing, and organizing patient and financial records in electronic systems. * Support cash application activities by reviewing remittance information, matching payments to correct accounts, and resolving discrepancies in payment posting. * Assist with provider portal access and maintenance by setting up and managing user accounts for internal team members across payer systems. * Facilitate insurance enrollment processes, including submitting electronic enrollments, researching payer requirements, and resolving enrollment issues through online tools or direct payer communication. * Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to workflow enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy across revenue cycle operations. * Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all patient, financial, and company information in accordance with HIPAA and compliance standards. *Qualifications* *Required:* * Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a corporate or administrative office environment * Strong customer service and communication skills * Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Experience with data entry and completing online forms with a high level of accuracy * Ability to navigate multiple systems, provider portals, and internet-based tools efficiently * Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills * Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment *Preferred:* * Knowledge of medical billing, claims processing, or healthcare revenue cycle operations * Experience with insurance enrollment, payment posting, or account reconciliation * Experience in medical office, front desk, or patient support roles * Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance payer processes *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Malvern, PA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
