Customer Service Representative *About the Role*
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support participants in navigating health and benefits programs. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact, assisting with inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding users through online platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide excellent customer service with a focus on first-call resolution * Handle inbound phone calls, email requests, and escalated issues * Accurately gather and document participant information * Assist with account registration, login issues, and portal navigation * Educate participants on available tools and programs to reduce repeat inquiries * Support participants in completing surveys over the phone * Partner with internal teams on complex or non-routine issues *Qualifications* *Required* * High School Diploma or GED * 1-3 years of call center or customer service experience (or transferable skills) * Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and active listening abilities * Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer systems * Professional and friendly phone presence * Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed * Must reside within 1 hour of the office *Preferred* * Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are highly encouraged to apply *Schedule* *Permanent shift (selected at time of offer):* * 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM * 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM * 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM * 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM * 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM *Training & Work Environment* * Training is fully onsite for approximately 4 weeks or until ready to work independently * After training, employees will transition to a hybrid schedule (onsite 2 days per week) * Continued onsite attendance is required throughout employment * Office space remains available for those who prefer to work onsite more frequently *Work-From-Home Requirements* * Private workspace with a door * Ability to connect via hardwired internet (WiFi not permitted) * Remote work cannot be used as a substitute for childcare *What We Offer* * Structured training and onboarding * Clear growth and development opportunities * Supportive team environment * Opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping others navigate health resources *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
