Position Overview We are seeking entry-level Cable Technicians to support a project installing fire alarm and low-voltage systems in a warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals with construction or hands-on experience who are reliable and willing to learn Key Responsibilities * Install fire alarm and low-voltage systems * Pull and route data, voice, video, and fiber optic cable * Perform basic wire terminations and assist with fiber splicing * Install communication hardware and enclosures * Operate power tools, lifts, and testing equipment * Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Take direction from leads and support team efforts Top Skills * Cable pulling or installation experience * Basic knowledge of low-voltage systems (Cat5/Cat6, fiber) * Mechanical or construction experience Required Qualifications * Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 100 lbs * Comfortable working at heights * Reliable with a strong work ethic * Ability to follow direction and work on a team * Strong attention to safety Preferred Qualifications * Experience in cabling, construction, or electrical work * Exposure to fiber splicing or terminations * Lead or foreman experience (not required) Work Environment * Warehouse and job site setting * Physically demanding work (standing, climbing, lifting) * Some shift variability and possible travel Additional Details * Drug screen required * Opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
