As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Area Patrol in Maspeth, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our values of reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers while following site-specific post orders and reporting suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by observing high-traffic areas, checking gates, doors, and dock areas, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or operational concerns that could affect the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
