Job Summary: The Survey Project Coordinator III performs administrative and technical services for surveying projects by supporting Project Managers and staff with project administration, scheduling, financial processing, and technical administration. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative and technical support for surveying projects.
- Supports Project Managers and staff with project administration, scheduling, financial processing, and technical administration.
- Assists with monitoring projects to ensure cost, timeframes, and the work performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Assists with monitoring and ordering work supplies and schedules vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Maintains inventory of all field equipment and vehicles on a weekly basis.
- Compile internal documentation and assists with the inspection of deliverables for accuracy and correctness.
- Provides permit modifications requests, 811 tickets, records requests, MOT, and start work notice supports.
- Performs additional administrative and technical duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
- Associate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Surveyor-in-Training, Certified Surveying Technician, or related certifications are preferred.
Required & Preferred Experience:
- Requires 5 years' experience in project coordination in the surveying, engineering and/or construction industries.
- Requires basic understanding of technical specifications related to project deliverables.
- Requires experience with BlueBeam Revu or comparable Geomatics software such as ArcGIS, Google Earth, Survey123, etc.
- Requires basic knowledge of GIS systems, data reliability, and support of company resources related to GIS technology.
- Requires experience opening drawings, computing closures, editing drawing information, creating minor drawings, plotting points, and importing and exporting data.
- Requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Requires strong organizational and time management skills.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to balance multiple work assignments at the same time is required.
- The ability to work alone but also effectively as part of a team is required.
- Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record as determined by McKim & Creed.
- Candidates are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
