Job Summary

The Finance Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Integrations plays a critical role in supporting corporate growth initiatives through financial leadership across acquisitions, strategic transactions, and post-acquisition integration activities. This position partners closely with Corporate Development, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, HR, IT, and business leaders to support financial due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and value realization. The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling expertise, transaction experience, executive communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Lead financial due diligence activities for acquisitions, including analysis of historical financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital, debt-like items, and cash flow sustainability.
  • Support valuation modeling, deal structuring, purchase price allocation inputs, and scenario analysis.
  • Partner with Corporate Development and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, investment memorandums, financial models, and board materials.
  • Assess financial risks, synergies, and value creation opportunities associated with potential transactions.
  • Support negotiation of financial terms within acquisition agreements, including earn-outs and working capital adjustments.
  • Lead financial integration planning and execution for acquired entities.
  • Develop and monitor integration milestones, synergy targets, and cost-to-achieve initiatives.
  • Partner with Accounting to integrate acquired entities into financial reporting processes, close procedures, internal controls, and ERP platforms.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to incorporate acquisitions into budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning activities.
  • Monitor post-close financial performance against acquisition assumptions and communicate results to leadership.
  • Support organizational change management efforts during integration activities.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to business leaders during periods of growth and transformation.
  • Improve M&A and integration playbooks, templates, and processes to enhance scalability and execution efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize financial processes and optimize performance across acquired businesses.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies throughout transaction and integration activities.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of progressive experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Transaction Services, Consulting, or related finance disciplines.
  • Hands-on experience supporting mergers and acquisitions from due diligence through integration.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with financial planning and reporting tools.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial integrations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification preferred.


Work Experience



  • 6-10 years of progressive experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Transaction Services, Consulting, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting acquisition transactions, integration activities, and financial transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in multi-entity, high-growth, or private equity-backed environments preferred.
  • Experience leading or significantly influencing post-merger integration activities preferred.
  • Experience with ERP integration projects and financial systems such as Workday, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms preferred.
