BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is looking to hire a Technical Lead for our GBS program. This position is on-site in Warrenton, VA. The Technical Lead will support efforts to build a Small Form Factor (SFF) modem in support of the GBS JPO.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Lead a team of engineers in developing a hardware and software defined radio modem capable of tactical Satellite Communication (SATCOM) operations.
- Define and drive design, development, and implementation of technical solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Plan and prioritize technical tasks, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
- Lead the project through the full project lifecycle of System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), prototype, verification and validation phases.
- Ability to design and integrate waveform onto an SDR based system.
- Communicate with external stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Personnel management of technical staff supporting this program.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a technical leadership role.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and creating execution plans.
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing SDR based system in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Python, or Bash.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with stakeholders.

- Master's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $160,000 - $180,000
