Summary of Job Description:

The Real Estate Legal ("REL") Coordinator performs a broad range of administrative support to the entire Real Estate Legal ("REL") team, such as scanning and distributing documents, distributing mail, coordinating the execution and notarization of legal documents, creating/preparing reports and entering and maintaining the database. This position also helps the REL improve its administrative processes and reduce administrative costs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Logs and scans into DocuWare and then distributes documents received via FedEx, certified mail, USPS, and priority mail.
  • Visits second office in Pasadena to obtain needed signatures.
  • Edits, orders, and manages Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
  • Scans files, fills out shipping labels, and sends out fully-executed documents on a timely basis.
  • Reviews, prepares, and coordinates execution and notarization of legal documents on a timely basis.
  • Sets up and uploads new stores on lease database system (currently MRI Prolease).
  • Prepares lease term sheets for renewals with emphasis on license, non-traditional and new concept stores in a timely and accurate manner and updates databases in accordance with the renewals.
  • Provides support on data entry to various databases as requested by the REL team members.
  • Helps improve the administrative processes and reduce administrative costs for the entire REL team.
  • Completes property management checks for REL with emphasis on non-traditional and new concept stores
  • Performs miscellaneous administrative work as requested.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of work experience
  • Preparing for paralegal certification preferred
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required training.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P1 $28-$35/ hour

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
