SUMMARY OF POSITION: A Regional President should demonstrate commitment to delivering distinctive service. This position has overall responsibility for the leadership of the Firm's activities in his/her Region in all aspects to ensure safety and soundness. The individual in this position is accountable for the development of associates, operations, profitability and growth of the area of responsibility, client retention, and achievement of service standards. Manages and oversees the entire loan portfolio of a specified market. Develops other new business by building corporate relationships, initiating and renewing commercial loans within a targeted market of the Bank, and participating in an aggressive sales campaign. Approves a personal loan portfolio of commercial loans within pre-approved authorized limits. Assures loans are in compliance with sound lending practices and regulations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide distinctive
service to clients and prospects, in person and over the telephone. Respond to client inquiries and satisfactorily resolve client issues. Support firm-wide achievement of the three-ring standard (all phones answered by a live person within three rings).
- Meet all the client's financial needs, both business and personal, and
refers clients to other specialty areas such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, etc. as appropriate. - Oversees
the development of commercial loan business within a specified market of the Firm's footprint. - Manages the
operational and tactical credit function for the Firm working within pre-established guidelines. - Actively
and aggressively participates in business development planning and strategy formulation for the market. - Develops other new business by building corporate relationships, initiating and renewing commercial loans within a targeted market of the Bank, and participating in an aggressive sales campaign
- Consults with senior leadership on marketing strategies as they are related to
introducing new products and services to prospective clients. - Develops other new business by building corporate relationships, initiating and renewing commercial loans within a targeted market of the Bank, and participating in an aggressive sales campaign.
- Assist
other team members as needed to ensure delivery of distinctive service.
Description of Experience, Education and Training:
- College
Degree - preferably in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or management. - 15
years banking experience - minimum of 10 years progressively responsible professional/managerial. - Thorough
knowledge and understanding of banking products and services - Knowledge
of Compliance and Security Regulations and Procedures - Extensive
management/team leader experience - Knowledge
of federal banking regulations - Proficient
with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Description of Capabilities, Physical Requirements and Abilities:
- Strong
management skills required with in depth knowledge of all regulations as it relates to banking processes, technology security, privacy and human resource management. Ability to motivate, train and monitor performance of associates within area of responsibility. - Detail
