As a Banquet Set-Up Supervisor, you will oversee room setups, supervise setup associates, maintain banquet equipment, and help ensure every event begins with a flawless first impression. Responsibilities include: Supervise and assist banquet set-up associates during event setup, breakdown, and room resets Ensure banquet rooms are set according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), room diagrams, and client specifications Conduct quality inspections to ensure meeting and event spaces meet Hyatt standards Coordinate room turnovers and setup timelines to support seamless event execution Train, coach, and support banquet set-up associates Monitor banquet equipment, storage areas, and inventory for cleanliness and organization Ensure tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, risers, and other equipment are properly maintained and stored Communicate effectively with Banquets, Events, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments Promote safe work practices and proper equipment handling procedures Identify maintenance concerns and coordinate follow-up as needed Assist with special projects and large-scale event setups Provide hands-on leadership and support during high-volume event periods Attend department meetings and assist with other duties as assigned What We're Looking For We're looking for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.
