Coordinates all operations relating to the interface between trunk aircraft loading/unloading activities; may perform job duties and responsibilities required of a courier and/or tractor-trailer driver. Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 Lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to operate GSE. Ability to successfully complete basic and/or re-currency training/testing. Knowledge of timekeeping/FedEx Computer Systems. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Must meet qualifications as outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions:

FMCSA covered safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, pcp, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must obtain & maintain valid commercial driver's license (CDL) & a hazardous materials endorsement (HME) for type of vehicle assigned within 90 days & have good driving record as outlined in policy.

Preferred Qualifications: This position is for Ramp Agent (DOT/CDL) and requires obtaining a CDL and Hazardous Materials Endorsement. Candidates must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (Section 391), pass a DOT medical exam, and undergo drug/alcohol testing. A neat appearance is required for customer interaction. Must maintain constant alertness and operate safely. Additional driving requirements per Company Policy 4-48.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current startingsalaryrange for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current startingsalaryfor the lowest level to the current startingsalaryof the highest level. Actual startingpaywould be determined by experience relative to the job, market level,payat the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additionalpay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: 26.56-38.93

Additional Details: Monday-Friday 0530-1430. The starting pay for this position is $28.86.
