WDH Head and Neck specialty is located at 361 High Street Somersworth, New Hampshire 03878. Our mission is providing state-of-the-art medical and surgical care for our patients with disorders of the ears, nose, and throat. Health problems associated with the head and neck can be common and happen at any age. Some of the conditions we treat include: Nasal and Sinus Disease Sleep Disorders, Sleep Apnea & Snoring Allergies Asthma Hearing Loss Chronic Ear Infections ENT Cancer We are seeking a 32-hour Audiologist to support our practice. This is an onsite position within a busy outpatient setting, with the option of a four-day workweek. The role includes built-in administrative time and focuses primarily on conducting audiograms and providing comprehensive audiology services to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. The Audiologist will typically see approximately 8 patients per day, with appointments averaging 40-50 minutes. This role involves working closely with two surgeons and two additional medical providers, as part of a collaborative team that includes two audiologists. Scheduling support is provided, allowing the focus to remain on patient care. We are seeking candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience who thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced clinical environment! Responsible for selecting and fitting hearing aids for customers. Administers and interprets tests of hearing. Assesses hearing instrument efficacy. Takes ear impressions and prepares, designs, and modifies ear molds. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Cochlear implant evaluations and programming. -Tinnitus evaluations, counseling, and treatment. -Monitor patients' progress and provide ongoing observation of hearing or balance status. -Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices, such as hearing aids. -Educates patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care. -Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
