The Role: Reporting to the CAO for Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro (LCMSP), the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing Patient Care Services at LCMSP. The CNO is accountable for the provision and quality of all nursing services at the facility level in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals. This includes ensuring a strategic balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and strong partnerships with organizational departments and professional groups. With a constant focus on patient-centered care and safety, the CNO establishes and maintains systems for care delivery that promote evidence-based practice and support management of productivity targets, patient acuity, and appropriate use of resources. The CNO is an integral member of the executive leadership team and participates in regional and system initiatives, including serving as a staff member on the Community Ministry Board (CMB). The full pay range is listed in accordance with applicable law. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, organizational compensation alignment, and the approved hiring department budget for the position. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
