Make an impact with your data skills Join the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) and help improve healthcare transparency, cost, and quality across Pennsylvania. In this role youll work with real-world healthcare data that directly informs public reporting, policy decisions, and better outcomes for patients across the state. What youll do Analyze large healthcare datasets (including hospital discharge and claims data) Apply statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and key insights Design and execute studies to support healthcare policy and reporting initiatives Prepare reports, visualizations, and summaries for both technical and non-technical audiences Collaborate with internal teams to improve data quality, reporting, and analytics processes What you need (minimum qualifications) Bachelors degree in statistics, epidemiology, data science, or a related field Experience or coursework with data analysis and statistical methods Proficiency with data tools such as SAS, SQL, and Excel Nice to have (but not required) Masters degree in a related field Experience working with healthcare or payer claims data Experience with data visualization or reporting tools Background in technical or analytical report writing Dont check every box?
