Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech III to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is vital to ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment, contributing directly to our organization's productivity and safety standards.

You'll be working with PLC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Industrial Maintenance equipment - Experience in these is a Huge Plus.

Pay is 27.50 - 31.00 an hour + $1.00 differential
Shift is Monday - Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am

Primary Duties
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions, implementing effective repair solutions promptly.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to schedule maintenance activities that align with operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports for all assigned equipment and tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance operations.
  • Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to conduct detailed inspections and repairs.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest upgrades to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in maintenance roles, preferably at an advanced level, demonstrating expertise in various technical disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and hydraulics relevant to industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical schematics and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical and proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance issues.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team under minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement within maintenance operations.
  • Experience with logic controllers, VFDs, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.

Education / Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certifications or vocational training in maintenance, electrical work, or mechanical systems are highly preferred. Proven hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance is essential for this role.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 27.50. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
