Remote Contract Opportunity: Business Operations Manager supporting sensitive operational processes for a technology company Job Title : Manager, Business Operations Open Pay range - $100-120/hr Location - Remote Duration: 3 month contract to start Position Specific Description If Remote: Time Zone Requirements: PST time zone preferred Possibility of Extension or Conversion: 3 months Mid-to-senior level Operations Manager role supporting highly sensitive and security-focused workstreams within a technology company. Requires the ability to manage and influence a broad range of stakeholders Responsible for coordinating account provisioning, access management, and permissions-related processes while ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements. Key focus on implementing and streamlining operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and execution. Strong program and project management skills required to drive initiatives across multiple teams and ensure successful adoption of new processes. Exceptional attention to detail is critical due to the sensitive nature of the work; errors can have significant downstream operational, security, or compliance impacts. Comfortable operating in a high-trust, high-accountability environment where discretion, judgment, and accuracy are essential. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, process improvement experience, cross-functional collaboration capabilities, and a track record of executing complex operational initiatives. Business Need (Why this role exists): Current provisioning volume exceeds the capacity of the existing team. Job Description: Contractor, Business Operations About the role: Platform Ops team is seeking a cleared contractor to execute daily operational workflows supporting enterprise and US government customer programs. Responsibilities: Execute customer account setup and configuration tasks in internal administrative systems, following established runbooks Process approved request batches accurately and on schedule, verifying changes take effect and escalating discrepancies Maintain accurate records of completed work: update trackers, close out request threads, and flag mismatches between records and live system state Coordinate with internal teams across multiple deployment environments, including government cloud Propose runbook updates when documented steps drift from how systems actually behave Requirements: Strong attention to detail in high-volume, multi-system execution work - small errors have customer-facing impact Comfort working in internal admin tooling and structured workflows; prior operations, deployment-support, or technical-support experience preferred Clear async written communication; comfortable working US Pacific hours Comfort escalating to internal stakeholders when there are bugs or questions you can't answer on your own What success looks like: Routine operational requests executed same-day, bugs & gaps identified and flagged, proactive problem solving, freeing full-time staff for program ownership.
