Exciting opportunity at MSK: As a Project Manager in Perioperative Services, you will contribute significantly to improving patient safety, operational efficiency, and innovation. You will guide complex projects that affect the quality of surgical care throughout the institution.

Role Overview

  • Lead cross-functional perioperative projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligning with organizational priorities.

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics in partnership with clinical, operational, and executive collaborators.

  • Coordinate the Operating Rooms Value Analysis Committee by partnering with committee co chairs to plan and facilitate monthly meetings, handle product review processes, and lead to all aspects of data collection, cost analysis, and collaborator engagement.

  • Collaborate closely with perioperative nursing, physicians, supply chain, and finance to assess clinical and financial impact, drive product standardization, and support evidence based decisions.

  • Serve as the Tissue Implant Program Coordinator, coordinating tissue tracking, documentation, audits, and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure timely execution of workflows, detailed documentation, and accurate reporting to advance efficient, high quality perioperative care

  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and follow-through.

  • Prepare clear, concise project updates and reports for senior leadership and key collaborators.

  • Support special departmental and enterprise initiatives that drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum of project management experience with a proven record of project delivery.

  • Experience in process improvement, system implementations, workflow analysis, or transformation.

  • Background in engineering, operations management, technology, finance, or healthcare project management.

  • Healthcare or perioperative services experience is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations and reporting.

  • Analytical and critical thinking capabilities to solve complex operational challenges.

  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment.

  • Collaborative leadership style that motivates teams and drives accountability for results.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Hybrid from 9am to 5pm - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in-person - remote Thursdays and Thursdays.

  • Location: 1275 York Avenue, Main Campus

  • Reports To: Senior Director of Logistics, Perioperative Services

Pay Range: $92,700.00 - $148,400.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
