FTE: 0.6 Shift: Evenings Schedule: 8 hour evening shifts.

Position Summary

The Unit Resource Assistant is an ideal opportunity in supporting department-wide comprehensive patient health care. Working in collaboration with the nursing staff, you will be engaged in a dynamic range of work responsibilities and functions, ensuring the efficient management of the unit and the best possible health care outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • You will support the units with proper setup, standardized equipment and supplies
  • You will thoroughly clean, maintain, and store all equipment
  • You will apply discretion, good judgment, and a professional manner to all work experiences
  • You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
  • You will transport specimens to the lab and retrieve blood products from Transfusion Services

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Recent experience in a health care environment
  • Certification as a nurse assistant preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.35 - $30.95 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
