Adult Physical Therapist (Full-Time)

Location: Lake Wylie, NC / South Carolina Border Area

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

My client is a growing outpatient rehabilitation practice dedicated to helping adults improve mobility, reduce pain, prevent falls, and achieve their highest level of function. They pride themselves on providing individualized, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with adult and geriatric populations and be committed to delivering exceptional one-on-one patient care.

This position offers a manageable caseload of approximately 12-15 patients per day, allowing therapists to focus on quality outcomes and meaningful patient relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
  • Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all state regulations and professional standards

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
  • Current Physical Therapist license in North Carolina or South Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

  • Experience treating adult and geriatric populations
  • Experience with balance and fall prevention programs
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience
